Salary: £24,500 per annum
Pension: 6% pension (this can be increased to 8% subject to a 2% employee contribution)
Hours: 37 hours per week (some flexibility is required for occasional evening/weekend work)
Holidays: 20 days per annum plus Bank Holidays and fixed days
Location: Citizens Advice Hampshire (the post holder will be expected to travel to partner agencies throughout Hampshire, Sussex and Kent)
Duration: Fixed term contract until 31st December 2020.

The Gambling Support Service (GSS) is a harm-minimisation project focused on promoting public education and awareness to reduce the impact of gambling-related harm (GRH) in vulnerable individuals. The project embeds a public health approach, supporting frontline professionals who deliver a range of public services to develop capacity and capability to identify and support people at risk of gambling related harm.

- To provide face-face and online training; workshops and events for frontline staff (within the Citizens Advice network, and wider) and increasing capacity for identification of gambling related harm
- To raise awareness of gambling related harm to service users and providers
- To screen, identify and offer advice, information and support for anyone at risk of gambling related harm
